Here is the link to the page, have a look: (On EWSO and other libraries, it acts as a timbral effect). With GPO, CC11 acts as fine-tuning for the volume. This is the same issue experienced by another user who posted in “MakeMusic Help Center†one month ago. Re: Sudden dramatic volume drop - Garritan/Aria player in Sonar 7 17:02:49 ( ) I use CC7 for base volume, CC11 for expression or on-the-fly changes. The Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 Sound Library Installer ACTIVATION Activating Garritan Personal. I don’t know where the problem could derive from if I need to set up other accessories (audio interfaces, but I’m not very convinced about it.) or if it requires an adjustment on VST settings. My equipment is only a usb print cable and a pair of studio headphones, all connected to a powerful and quick laptop (16 gb RAM, 512 gb SSD where the CFX is placed. I tried to turn up all the three sliders, and even the equalizers, but it turned out to be a distorted sound.
Recently I installed the Full Garritan CFX, and both in live playing and recording it in "standalone player" I experienced a TOO LOW volume, compared to my digital piano internal sounds. I rely on Garritan, both COMB2 and PO4, for a number of instruments and am pleased with the quality of the samples, however the volume of sounds is markedly lower than other sample libraries that I regularly use.
6.1: Handbell Sounds in GPO 4 vs.Hi everyone! This is my first time posting on this forum. Using Garritan IO4 and COMB2 with Presonus Studio One Professional on a Windows 10 computer. Its possible to boost the overall volume of each Aria Player bank to 200, and also increase the master volume to 200. To compensate, you should increase the volume in the Audio Units Banks & Effects dialog box.
It is also interesting that the handbell patch included with another notation program, which is also suppose to be from Garritan (but I'm not sure which of Garritan's samples) and also uses the Aria player, goes lower and it dampens after the length of the note. The Garritan sounds are indeed significantly softer than SoftSynth sounds or normal system sounds. (Unless a player is specifically told to 'let vibrate' they would dampen after the length of the note).
What is the range of the handbell patch in GPO 4? Does it go below Middle C? Also, does it keep ringing forever (no damping) or does it dampen when the note's value is over? I'm curious because the handbell patch in the Sibelius essentials (which the help file says is from Garritan, but not from GPO) only goes as low as Middle C (C4) and seems to ring forever, unlike the way people would usually play the bells.
Can anyone who uses GPO 4 answer a question about the handbells in it?
